As it is now widespread custom among hunters and their protectors, ignoring the pleas of animal rights organizations and the collection of signatures of individuals, the Province of Belluno has passed a resolution providing for the massacre of about 1400 female and baby deer and roe deer from April 17 to May 29, 2011.
worth noting that the female deer give birth from late May to early June, so it's easy to imagine the horrible end and slow faced by the baby if the mother is killed.
