The deep meaning of the twelve months of the year. A time for everything ...

The Celts called it "ANAGANTIOS" (time to be at home). It's our month of January, one of those twelve vague "time units" to which we have reduced our calendar.

Per tornare ai Celti (ma si potrebbero cite a large number of calculations and spiritual cosmologies belonging to different peoples of the earth), the passing of the months was intimately linked to their integration with the rural life, agricultural and forest.
commentator dampened deleterious materialism today, then, will say that the Celts worked out a convenient way to identify the time, based on both "farm" of the months in order to easily identify a number of jobs and committing only "material" . But it is a blunder born of complete ignorance (or underestimate) the fact that every month for the Celts had his "soul" that was associated with an entire quantity of spirits and intrinsic meaning.

Consideriamo, allora, i 12 mesi così come li chiamavano (e vedevano) i Celti.

May: SIMIVISONIOS (clear weather)
June: Equos time (of horses)
July: ELEMBIUOS (time of meetings to do justice)
August: EDRINOS (time of the issuance of judgments)
September : CANTLOS (Time songs)
October: Samonios (sowing time)
November: DUMANNIOS (time of darkness deeper)
December: RIUROS (cold weather)

Clearly, they will say the historian, anthropologist, ethnologist modern, it is easy to access schematization mnemonic based on the activities agricultural and rural life of those people that perhaps did not even write.
This error is typical of the commentators at the "Quark" was born, as I said, from having lost the deep fusion of man and the profound identification with the rhythms of a planet that now has only a parking lot without guardians, just a land of conquest and survival.
In reality, we must "enter" within the meaning of those definitions and try to recover the authentic plethora of modes of interpretation that they had.
The agricultural calendar, with the various activities that the land required in the course of months, was therefore an extension of the spiritual rhythm stesso della vita e dell'uomo.
Oppure il "tempo dei germogli", ovvero Aprile, is the representation of the seed was born in the darkest months of life and which slowly opens. But, clearly, is not only intended as plant life: that is, shall we say, "the ordinary approach" to a month, then there is "unique approach" and then it is of great interest to ask what " shoots "chosen as a symbol for the month of April.
Without sliding into easy clichés of more or less mystical abstraction, is the "sense of the bud," and the magical symbolism, ranging recovered. This is the path that we should do when we get closer to the soul of peoples as the Celts, who dwell deep in our history, and therefore also in us, but of which we are no longer able to understand the language.
An example might be the evidence of what has been said is the definition chosen to designate the month of September, called "Cantlos": "Time of Songs".
Why these people chose the very act of singing to designate the month of September when they could instead be inspired by the ripe corn, the grape 'or more properly to other aspects of agriculture that time of year?
The answer can only be one: the man then took the "spirit of joy" that the earth itself gave off with its full prosperity, with the golden fruits of his maturity ... In other words, they sang the "Round the maturity of the earth."
short, agricultural activities are essential to a "growing" parallel, deep inner life of man who was the one with the earth and the seasons that marks the passing of time. And, mind you, this is not only idyllic and utopian longing for the bucolic and serene worlds, far from it.
Life was also suffering, hardness, hardship and death. But in the representation of the months, these people chose the aspects that could also be recalled that "the parallel pulse" . ..

the Ayurvedic diet

all know the ayurvedic massage, but who knows the diet of Ayurveda?

L ' Ayurveda or Indian medicine, has ancient origins (she was born about 5000 years ago) and is based on the principle of balance between body, mind and spirit.
Ayurveda attaches importance to food to maintain this balance and, as with other natural medicines, weight loss may be associated with those requirements of the purification of the body.

According to the 'Ayurveda nessuno di noi assimila gli alimenti allo stesso modo.

E 'imaginative, strong courageous.
type Kapha (earth + water) is a person of strong constitution, it tends to gain weight, have skin soft, bright, shiny hair and thick, it is slow moving, but energetic and very reliable.

There should be a limit to the food you eat: If you exceed feeding us is doomed to suffering.
To protect and preserve the body, food is necessary, but if you cross the boundary at the body needs the functioning of our bodies will be shaken. We
air around us but not them breathe more than we need: eat moderately is the best medicine: Cattle Dogs have better food abitutudini: fever when they refuse the food ...
Eat at regular intervals, do a little exercise and take your time with work. Sit at the table with a bit 'of hunger: you wait to eat again until you feel the need to refill my stomach.

The quality and quantity of food determine our thoughts and feelings!
the food is of three types
satvic : promotes peace and harmony when
rajasic : When passion and desire stimulates
tamasic : when it leads to sloth and torpor

Non-vegetarian food affects not only the physical body of man but also has deleterious effects on the mind. Eating meat develops a tendency to violence and disease.

FOOD satvic
keep the body young and your mind clear, give health, patience and tolerance is the ideal food for all mankind.
foods are pure, natural, raw: fruits and vegetables raw or undercooked if necessary (and soy beans, which you can find all the energy in shoots)
organic farmers and non-transgenic if they grow on the land are more suitable than those that grow below ground.
grains and semi-soaked ground and
yogurt, whey milk, curdled milk, fresh raw in moderate quantities but also algae (milk protein not all are good) olive oil

walnuts, almonds, coconut pulp and water.
pure water (never cold before and after meals)

FOOD rajas
facilitate the option of hatred and love, excitement and boredom, pleasure and pain ...
food too salty, too spicy and too sweet, sour and bitter
meat and fish eggs and dairy too

dry food and oil
food treated with chemical fertilizers
cooked food twice and heated
wine and spirits ( excess Tamas: drinking you lose control of emotions, instincts, language)

FOOD TAMAS
lead to laziness and indolence
all food, cooked and heated especially when cooked in water (do not keep cooked food for a day or two!)
excess food and meat
preserved fish, sausages and wine alcohol

coffee, tea and chocolate
refined white sugar (it is a carcinogen!)
pasteurized milk, long-life animal fats

preservatives and flavoring

View our size and strength of an elephant yet it is vegetarian! The cow, which many kills to feed is an example of gentleness, strength and generosity
is NOT impossible to live without eating meat!
Vegetarians have more strength of character of those who eat meat and are less prone to diseases.
